About me
I am a conscientious, hardworking individual with good initiative skills and highly motivated and organised, possessing excellent interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
I am a professionally trained translator, with a specialized Honours Degree from Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, Portugal.
I have a fast rhythm and I'm able to translate around 3000 words a day.
I have a sound knowledge of Information Technology, including great command of the internet and translation tools, such as Trados and Wordfast.
Experience
In 2005/06 took an internship in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where my main activities were teaching English to a wide range of students (between 7 and 80 years old).
Currently I'm working in Milan, Italy for a search engine where I'm in charge of the translation, localisation and analysis of a website (Jobrapido - Ofertas de Emprego).
Simultaneously I give private Portuguese lessons to foreign professionals and I work as a freelance translator.

Internet - Completely addicted to blogs, Hi5, Facebook, etc. I can spend hours browsing and learning.
